Can we earn benefits from working???

                 More and more people attempt to find the equilibrium between family and working especially when they get married. However, I thought there are many benefits to devoting yourself to work even when you are married and have a family. It is a great chance to build your social network wider and wider, helps to achieve personal goals and can improve the quality of life not only for yourself but also for the whole family.

          Social networking can make function when you lose your job or not satisfied with the job right now. When you on the position of working, you will need to contact and meet with different people based on like collaborative project, business negotiations, contract conclusions or placing production orders. From these chances, you may make friends with each other and not only working relationship. Along with the longer working experience you have, the wider social networking you would build. However, what’s the benefit from social networking? For example, when you get fired from your boss, the first thing you have to do is not begin reading help wanted ads in the newspaper. Instead, you can call some of people who are in your social networking list and ask them whether can get helped. Besides, if you are not satisfied with your current job as the reason of low salary, long working time, large amount of work or whatever, your friends through your social networking can also provide you some new chances and recommend you to other company in the same area of yours which can let you faster familiar with the work.

  There is another reason that people like to spend time on work. There are some people who work not for money, not for the material life but because working helps them to achieve their personal goals. For them, work is a natural necessity that has nothing to do with either morals or money. A good example of someone who could not live without working was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the great Viennese musician and composer. He could not live without creating music. Losing himself in music, his passion, gave him meaning in life.

Nowadays, people are more likely to pursue quality of life instead of life with just enough food and clothing. I believe money is an important part for quality life, and how do we make money? The answer is work. If you have a high position of work, you will definitely earn a high salary and you can enjoy life in special ways because of your earnings. Travelling is a good way to annotate this idea as you can afford to plan a fantastic trip with your family which provides a five-star hotel and dining in fancy restaurants, or you can join in the luxurious cruise trip to start a particular vacation. Furthermore, if you have a good job and earn a high salary, you are qualified for a loan from the bank and can buy a high-quality house. I believe that buying a house is actually buy life happiness. Living in a comfortable environment and atmosphere is a high quality guarantee. Besides, a good living environment is an affected major for children. The environment a child is raised in plays huge roles in determining how smart and socially adept he or she will be. In a good community, your neighborhoods are friendly and obliging and your children can play with their children together, children are able to study in a better school to get better education and the social environment is safe as well.

          People devote themselves to work because they have good prospects of gain. Some people want to forget worries by riveting attention, some people persist in live on dream or personal goals and some people for the purpose of improve quality of life. Whatever they pursue, they earn benefits from work.

The theory is all about how things complement, or check, each other, and, how people should pursue harmony to avoid harm. In other words, it’s about balance. For example, if a person lives in a light colored house for too long, he, or she, is likely to lose patience and become restless. According to Feng Shui, the colors in the room are not harmonious and need to be adjusted to achieve balance. Feng Shui also has an influence over people’s life and psyche. Chinese culture is developed around the belief of the golden mean. In other words, refrain from being excessive. If a small family occupies a large house, it is believed to bring bad fortune, sooner or later. The message here is, to maintain balance.

     In Europe and America, Feng Shui has become as popular as the martial arts and Shaolin Gongfu. More and more people talk about Feng Shui with great relish. Many universities and institutes have supplementary courses, using a modern scientific approach to research and calculate statistics, to rigorously test and examine the truth of Feng Shui. Relationship

Between men and women, there are numerous topics to investigate. Thinking, belief, sex, relationship, friendship, family, etc. What are the difference? Why we are so interested in this researching area? How can we break through our question?      Communication in relationship is of vital importance. As the difference between men and women in response, sometimes it becomes the origin of contradiction. When women take their fancy to a clothing, they will possible change her speaking manner from direct to hesitant. Characterized by false starts (“I was wondering…” or “I think…”) and more likely to include qualifiers (“perhaps”, “maybe”, “somehow”). Men feel tired about women’s indecision, but do you think over why it happens? There are three points to answer men’s trouble: The first one is women include and to courage man to state her ideas. Second is women need men to give affirmation, such as “Oh, I love this dress! It really design for you darling!” Third is women are always kindly thinking about give men a leeway. Men answered in direct may involve mistakes, if women say “Hmmm…there is a possibility that…” in hesitant. Men will seize the leeway to correct their former response. It makes both of them feel gentle to resolve conflicts.

     When it comes to first impressions, a majority of men polled said beauty was more important than brains, while women put a sense of humor at the top of their list. When men and women move to a serious relationship, women will no longer expect how humorous he is. Women are looking for long-term qualities in a partner. If other women feel her boyfriend or husband very humorous, she may considered as flowery words instead of humor. She will suspect whether he is trying to appeal others. That’s a big conflict because men totally cannot understand.

     Serious relationship is worth to spending time operate. It’s a big learning, and has no limit. Being in a serious relationship can often make you lose sight of your individuality. It will be a crazy and missing memory in your whole life. Never be shy to find your true love, be confident you can do that. When you meet your soul-mate, you will realize everything you do is worthy.

when you are thinking something

Think of something. Try to  think something when you are in a daze..or you are just waiting for someone.

I can say :” I`m a good thinker .”   What`s that mean?  Just because I like to sleep and have a good dream , no matter how long  or in where , just need some idea or imagination.

I don`t  like to think too much about what a dead cert unless I`m  in a flight or taxi. In here I would like to show you how`s these places give me ideas. Let`s think that you are sitting in a narrow, dark , bumpy coach seat in a flight.  First, it`s so dark and in this darkness place no one knows what you are looking at or doing, so  there`re no embarrassed or pudency.  At the same time, the cabin is not a quiet place to sleep but a wonderful place to think and read something real , you can concentrate on your business without disturbing or inattention. Thirdly, could you imagine that when the darkness around you, there`s a warm light ( like love or idea) is shining on you and the book….would you feel something like inner peace or the sence of meditation…?

On the last flight, I was worried about my mother and the family and at that time I was also thinking about ” learn to meditate and explore the vast reaches of your soul through inner contemplation.  I agree with some ideas like ” I think, so I am ” ,but do people need to think everything especially like what they are doing everyday?   Sometimes people just do what they need to do in everyday time but never think about that, and yes, me too. However,I think that at least we need to think about what we are suffering or what we try to keep balance in our life.

For me , I want to stay with my family much much more closely and try to balance business, study , travel , girlfriend , family. I think everyone have some problem about this issue , just more or less.  So how to balance it?

Dear mother, you are the most beautiful star in my sky. Once I heard the message, I rushed back. No matter a round flight for 3000USD, no matter I have to do extra work online to continue my course, no matter I need to shuffled out of the chores and just want to stay with you one more second.  You are always the best in my heart, please forget all the pain that you are suffering.

When I got message that you were bleeding on the floor, how can I stay with you and be right here next to you . When I got result from my uncle that there is a cancer in your stomach, how can I share some pain with you. When the doctor told me that you need to take chemotherapy , I cried and can not image what will become of you, my beautiful mother.

Maybe God wants I to meet a few trouble before meeting the most difficult one, so what when I finally be here, I will know how to be grateful.

violence in the media

Nowadays, violence in the media is everywhere such as in video games, TV shows and music lyrics and it becomes an issue that need to be solved in society. In 2002, Steven Pinker who is the Harvard psychologist claimed that the major cause of American violent crime was violence in the media. In video games, people can explore more exciting feeling than in real life because they can role playing as perverts, murders or whatever they attempt to be. Besides, children watch nearly three to four hours of television a day and 90 percent of the programs they are watching is provided to adults. The overexposure to media violence may causes children to become more aggressively and affects them as adult’s years later. Moreover, many people especially young people usually listen to music for relaxation and entertainment. Therefore, violence in the video games, TV shows and music lyrics are possible to cause a harmful influence on not only adults but also children.

          Violent images in video games can influence people to engage in violent behavior. For instance, two boys, ages fifteen and thirteen, stole their father’s rifle and shot a passing car on the highway and killed a passenger. After the accident, the youths explain the reason which is the video game named Grand Theft Auto made them do it. In the game, people can play the role of perverts, murders or cops and provide an environment of weapons, killings, stabbing and shooting. It follows that people revel in their violence, bloody and amorality. Besides, these games is loathed by parents because they worry their children may grow up with the different ideas and values. They assert these video games are full of role-playing in crime which will have an unfavorable influence on the growth of children.  Therefore, violent video game leads people to violent behavior.

          Besides, TV shows also contain violent images and affect people. For example, a study from University of Oregon in 1997 maintained that the average of elementary-school child will watch more than 8,000 murders on TV which also means the programs they are watching is meant for older audiences. Consequently, children exist in the overexposure of violence and lead to dangerous actions even homicidal-aggressive behavior. In addition, the news media is also promoting violence. Based on the statistics, News stations spend for hours about world affairs, current wars, gamines, natural disasters, and genocides. It means that more than 60 percent of the news is focused on violent issues on a single day. As news stations spread continuous source of bad news, people are received all these news with negative influences and depressing stories. Then they subconsciously suppose violence is common, thus acceptable and enviable.

         Moreover, some music lyrics such as heavy metal or rap influence people to behave in a violent way as well. For example, a song like Lil’ John’s Get Crunk or Linkin’ Park’s Nobody’s Listening can motivate people a small high. And a song named “What You Know” by Rolling Stone which included phrases like “Got you a yelling’ and I thought you put out a gun hit for…just keep it very cool…or we will bury you” was rated as the hundred best songs of the year. However, it contains violent lyrics. So many people rely on their favorite songs for relaxation and entertainment. Besides, favorite songs can affect the judgment and actions of individuals which mean if the lyrics are full of violence, and it may have a strongly negative effect on the listener. Besides, since the iPod is popular all over the world, many people habitually listen to the music during the subway or walking on the street. As a result, the extent of music’s influence on society is likely extensive.         

          Media violence covers all around our life and they may leads people to aggressive behavior through video games, TV shows and music. Many people, especially children, imitate actions from violent video games. Crime is also possible under the “inspiration” of TV shows. Some lyrics in music may affect people’s violent behavior as well. Therefore, people should be on the alert from media violence so as not to engage in violent behavior. Parents can recommend their children to see more kid-friendly entertainment like Gilligan’s Island, Odd Couple, and Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. For adults, the government already tries to restrain the promotion of violence like apply age-appropriate ratings to movies and companies can package their products more wisely.

Big game from today… World Cup in Africa

             The world cup in South Africa got  underway with a longest time opening. Although it is so long, vibrant, and fully with african style, you may feel a little bit tedious. My favourite Germany first show is on the tomorrow and England is also a good player to match. Today we have a good begin but a tasteless result. Fulltime Uruguay 0-0 France, and I think that everything is even in Group A with all four teams on 1 point.That`s not a joke!   How`s the France team`s show?  So they are in a vicious cycle which has last 12 years that always got a 0 on the first show…… they must break this vicious circle but obviously Ribery is a good midfielder but not the right leader.   

Can the US has any chance to win the group ?   After 60 years England would meet the US again today`s afternoon.

Be careful,   England.  

England comes into the tournament as a legitimate contender, a team of experience, strength and potential. The U.S. is considered as  a decided underdog, butactually I think that there are much much more pressure is  on England instead of the US. We can imagine that if the US   lose, it was to be expected. If the English lose, the consequences are incalculable and how can  Mr Capello eat his words happily

Capello can afford to be calm; at every position he has starters who are seasoned professionals, some of them world-class. Every one of his 23 players performs weekly in the English Premier League. And they also have one of the famouest  cheerlader , Mr Beckham…. He knows his US football friends well . Obviously  American can’t compare, at least not man-for-man. But as a team, and on the right day, who knows?

England can attack with speed and power, through  Rooney. However, Mr Rooney is also a huge inner risk in this great team. Not for his ball skill, but for his famous bad temper. Can the US learn how to let this young Brit angry? If they can , they would have a chance to win , or at least keep their  goal area safe . Besides Rooney,It can also attack in the air, through Peter Crouch and John Terry. from distance, through Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard , or just down the wings, through Ashley Cole and Glen Johnson.

It could  be a long night for the U.S. defense and especially for goalkeeper Tim Howard , but if Rooney get a card , they would feel much much better.

There is another problem , which is the Germany.    Germany is probly the 1st in D group, which would face the 2nd in C group. This means England should keep their 3 wins to avoid meet Germany too early. Haha…….      is that right???

Uncle Yang and his farmland

“It`s my property, they must give me  compensation.I won`t retreat, and my son will  protect the possession in case someone murder me , and I will never suicide , the worst thing is murder “

 Yang YouDe , a peasant from  Wu Han, the capital city of Hu Bei  province.now has a big trouble  with local government which almost  happens every day in China ,that is DEMOLITION.

 

 As Uncle Yang said , he leased 2.5 hectare farmland for fish farming and crop farming , the contract with local

government is valid until the end of  the 2029 year. In this year, more than half of his farmland was taken over

 by the local government for a real estate projects. Obviously , real estate is really hot in China and the house

 price soared 50% during these 3 years , so they want uncle Yang could agree a transaction with a

 compensation of  130977 Yuan (  19148 USD) . However ,  Uncle Yang heard from his son that the city

 regulation requires 46800 Yuan per mu, so in total should be 1170000 Yuan ( 171052 USD), almost 10 times of the agreement`s amount.

The argument has rumbled on for weeks and the property developers cannot wait for so long time, so there are some rumors that some “ big

 shot” would  ” do something real ” to force Uncle Yang`s family move out of his farmland.

Yang collected a lot of fireworks and build a fence and watchtower with his family in the farmland .Every day he watch carefully and once there

 are some strangers coming, He would climb the watchtower and monitor them with his homemade weapon.He

 said that in the first time , there  were dozens of  men coming with shield, helmet, Interphone and soil shifter ,

 to force this old man out of his little farmland , otherwise , they  would pull him out and plow up

 everything without any lawfully authorized order. Unfortunately this time they were wrong. and completely

 underestimated this old man.

Uncle Yang uses the fireworks to make some homemade bomb, rockets and Molotov cocktail. Like a warrior ,

 one time against more than 100  men  just himself. Every time before he open fire, he would inform his

 enemy , ” All I want is keep my property ,I never meant to hurt anyone”

Now this old man still stay at his post , with some medias`report, he got a lot of online supporters. In a , he said on a local television`s

 interview that ” I`m a key person in this land transaction,  they afraid of me and it`s like a “ Beat the dog before the lion” . If I compromise today,

 everyone could be me tomorrow. “

when heard this story, I was shocked by this old man`s  persistent and dauntless , but now I worry about he and his family`s safty.

Many chinese people called him as “Avatar” ,  a movie celebrating the local people`s successful efforts to oppose the demolition crews.

In China ,those local people who against to move out always be know as “nail house owner”.

ASH above Heathrow

Has anyone else thought that maybe volcanoes are changing our aircraft        industry? Look the EU, hundreds of airports were shut on Apr and May. So many people were stuck in the airport and even slept in there for some days. I used to take flight because I thought it saves time and let me feel some kind of comfortable (every year I need to fly more than 300 hours …)

      This story happened on last month. It is a virgin flight in late night, crowd with passengers and the seat space is really small. After about 7 hours when the flight was planning to land, there were something happened. When I was watching 2012, what a crazy movie, at that moment there were some noise from the ventral (the plane`s belly) and the plane continue its landing process, many people didn’t know what happened but I felt there maybe something wrong. As expected, when the plane was only 20 or 30 meter away from the ground, the captain pull up the plane quickly and let announce there were some problems and they were busy to find the problems. At that time, everyone know it was a bad news and some people felt sick ,and a child before my seat was crying . Every picture and sound in this sense let me feel that maybe it is a movie or a horrible dream. But I quickly wake up because there is a smelt a sort of acid surround me. Obviously, the smell is from the airsickness bags while many people were using it. After 10 mints, the captain told us they fixed the problem and now we could land soon.

      Will you feel afraid when you in this case? I think many people in this plane were not feeling terrible or feel afraid in the first landing. We are not afraid just because we know nothing. But in the second time, the cabin is really quiet except a baby was crying. When the plane began to land, I fasten the seat belt quickly, looking down to the floor and standing with my hands clasped to my chest, while many people just close their eyes. It`s hard to say what I was thinking at that time but I knew I am always lucky. Just ten seconds, the plane landed on the ground with a little bit trembles and started to taxi. Meanwhile, I heard people started to talk again, some of them were cheering and most of them looks very exciting.

      After I switched on my cell phone in the luggage claim area, I got three voice mails from my brother, which was that there was a volcano just erupted and the volcanic ash cloud moving closer to England and Europe. They had to divert all flights inbound to their airport and others so his flight got to do a U Turn in the clouds back to Vancouver. Who was the luckiest? I arrived on time with a moment of terrible, he was stuck at the airport and had to wait for another 2 days delay.
